Every Leap I've Made Was With the Support of a Community

I recently joined Project Kairos hosted by Rich Litvin. It is a program and community I’ve thought about joining for years, but never felt I could really swing it. This year was the year. I was keen to jump in, to meet the amazing people he surrounds himself with, and to create new kinds of magic in my business and life.

While we’re only about halfway through, I can say that the experience has already paid my investment back in full. The number of incredibly talented, driven, successful, smart, spiritually aligned people I have met through this community is astounding. Like I joined the coolest club on Earth for incredible leaders – and just by being there I’m suddenly one of them.

What makes this experience so valuable to me is the way that Rich fosters connection and builds up the belief from every single member that at least half the value of the program is in connecting with the amazing people who are drawn to him and his programs. And he isn’t wrong. Being new in London, I’ve been able to connect with inspiring entrepreneurs in real life and feel intimately linked into a community that is creating meaningful change in the world.

I’ve met an incredibly talented actress and comedian, a senior executive in the California hospital system, a former military pilot, and a successful serial entrepreneur. And these are just a few examples of the incredible achievements of this community, not to mention these are just titles that represent only the smallest sliver of the person in front of me.

I am so grateful to myself for investing in one of the most influential personal development journeys I’ve ever participated in, and to the community of humans who have already given back so much just by showing up and being themselves. I learn so much from their stories, from their fears, from their successes, and realize just how much I have to offer back – to them, to my clients, and to my own community.

On deeper reflection, I’ve come to realize that I have never made a big leap alone. Every time I’ve dreamt of something bigger, better, or wilder than I could imagine at the time, I’ve done so with the support, love, and lifting up of a community of peers. With my MBA it was my classmates, with my coaching certification it was my wonderful peers who I trained with, with my business growth it was a mastermind that I created with an intimate group of badass women who were all building beautiful businesses.

Today I find myself in Rich’s community, which opens so many doors to new possibilities. Leadership and entrepreneurship is lonely enough, there’s no reason to struggle through all of the challenges I face on my own. And from this space of possibility, I have created T7M – a community of creative, high achievers who are committed to challenge the status quo and become more intentional and conscious in the life they create.
