I Felt So Alone on My Healing Journey. Now We're 50 Episodes In!
When I first decided to launch a podcast, I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew there was an important message to get out - one about all the different ways that people can heal in their lives.
I never believed in one size fits all. It never fit my life, and I was sure it didn't fit anyone else's, either.
When I first became a reiki healer, my world expanded in ways I can't quite put into words. I both felt and experienced things I couldn't describe, and had very few people I could talk to about it. No one understood what I meant. Most people I knew had never had a similar experience.
And so I found myself feeling alone.
I didn't know who to talk to or who to ask for help to go deeper with everything I was experiencing. I was grateful for my teacher, but found myself becoming dependent on her as I navigated this entirely new and unknown world of alternative medicine, healing, and spiritual awakening.
It was all so new to me.
I kept searching for people, courses, books, experts - anyone I could ask my questions. I found myself taking one course after another, looking for it all to make sense. But it still didn't.
Over the years, things started to fall into place. I began to understand more and become grounded in my own knowledge and expertise, while still learning from masters of different disciplines.
I knew that I couldn't be alone in my experience. That awakening and healing was not a journey any one of us can (or should) walk alone.
I launched Don't Step on the Bluebells for exactly that reason. I wanted to have intimate conversations with the experts themselves - the men and women who were actually doing this life-changing work and helping people to heal. Healing that spreads from individual to family to community and beyond.
I wanted answers, and I wanted to share them directly with the seekers who, like me, craved deeper understanding and needed to know they weren't alone.
Don't Step on the Bluebells was born from the desire to bring healers and seekers together into one place, to help them find each other, and to make the process of healing a work done in community - not in isolation.
2.5 years later, I couldn't have imagined just how much we'd all learn together - or how far this community would reach. Listeners are tuning in from 78 countries: the US, UK, Germany, Singapore, the Netherlands, and beyond. We've explored everything from Hellerwork and fascia to psychic development, shamanism, and aura readings. Next in line are: plant medicine, Ayurveda, and hypnosis. And we're just getting started!
I am so proud of what we've created and the transformational conversations that continue to be published every two weeks. I'm committed to bringing you the elders, experts, and guides who've walked this path for years - sometimes decades.
Thank you for being a part of it. Here's to 50 episodes!
With love,
Amanda
