I Moved 6,000 Miles to Learn This

When I decided to move to Singapore to become a coach, I had no doubt in my mind it was the right choice. Even though it meant changing my entire life, changing my cats' lives, and giving up any strand of financial security I thought I had.

I had just quit my job. I was starting a new business. And I was flying to a country I had only visited on a layover many years before. The logistics alone were wild—packing up my apartment in Berlin, finding a sub-tenant, flying with my cats (and my mom) to New York first. None of it was simple. None of it was easy.

And yet, beyond my ability to understand it at the time, I knew it was the right choice. Every single part of me knew that was the only path forward. So I moved through the discomfort—all of it—to put myself 6,000 miles away in a room I needed to be in.

What I got from that experience was life-changing. The chance to study something I knew was a calling. The people I met who still feel like family. The chains I finally broke free from that had been holding me to a life that no longer fit.

I finally met myself in Singapore.

The 33-year-old woman who was brave to her core—wild, passionate, and free. The woman who trusted her instincts and could read a room better than anyone else. Fierce, determined, and open to love. Every part of myself that had been disconnected came rushing back in full color.

And suddenly, it made sense why there was nowhere else in the world I could be but exactly where I was.

This is the kind of inner knowing that changed my life—and it taught me something profound: when you learn to listen to that deep inner voice, you stop living for everyone else's expectations and start living your own truth.

And life starts to feel easier. Less overwhelming. More in flow. You have a greater sense of clarity and you trust yourself to make choices that are aligned with what matters most to you. The constant second-guessing fades. The anxiety about whether you're "doing it right" dissolves. Instead, there's a quiet certainty—a knowing—that guides you forward.

That's why I teach people how to listen to their inner wisdom. To hear their own voice above all the noise. To trust that feeling of deep knowing from within that guides them back home to who they really are.

This week, I've launched an Inner Wisdom Mini Series on my podcast Don't Step on the Bluebells to give you a real taste of this work. These episodes contain some of the foundational tools I teach in the Inner Vision Quest—my 6-Week Intuition Training Program that launches October 21st.
